Q: What is the difference between a flash, wanna-do, & custom?

A: A flash piece is from a flash sheet (labeled Available Flash on my website) that is a repeatable design.

A wanna-do (something I want to do) is a one-off pre-drawn piece I’ve released that is only claimable by one person. Once it is claimed it is taken down. Variations of a piece can be done, but I will never do the exact design twice.

A custom piece is a piece that stems from your own idea. I always ask how much creative freedom i have with a custom. Reference photos are preferred so I can see other similar works you like to ensure we’re on the same page.

⟡ Q: Do you tattoo all bodies & skin tones?

A: Yes! I primarily cater to women and the lgbtqia+ community to create a private safe space. All bodies and skin tones are welcomed. My studio is ADA accessible (aside from automatic doors).

I DO NOT TATTOO ANYONE UNDER 18, even with parent consent due to Douglas County health regulations.

⟡ Q: Can i use numbing cream?

A: Yes! I encourage you to use numbing cream if you have a known low pain tolerance or are being tattooed in a spot that’s typically painful (i.e. sternum, thighs, calves, feet, etc.) especially if it is a larger piece. One that has worked well for myself and many clients is this one. Please let me know if you will be using numbing cream so we can discuss specific instructions and precautions.

Q: WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

A: I work at a private studio in Parker, CO. The studio is not open to the general public and is specifically by appointment only. You are given the exact address in your appointment reminder email 24 hours prior along with other helpful information.

Q: how do i book an appointment with you?

A: I open my books every couple of months. The only way to schedule is by filling out a submission form on the contact page. FILLING OUT A FORM DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN APPOINTMENT.

Q: I’VE BEEN OFFERED AN APPOINTMENT, NOW WHAT?

A: Once you’ve been sent a scheduling link, I ask that you schedule within 48 hours, or books have the possibility of closing.

I REQUIRE A $75-$200 DEPOSIT BASED ON THE TOTAL COST ESTIMATE. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND COME OFF OF YOUR TATTOO TOTAL OF THE FINAL SESSION.

I OFFER 1 FREE RESCHEDULE AT THE TIME OF NOTICE. THE NOTICE MUST BE AT LEAST 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE. MORE THAN 1 RESCHEDULE RESULTS IN FORFEITING YOUR FIRST DEPOSIT AND NEEDING TO PLACE ANOTHER.

Q: How much is my tattoo going to cost?

A: My rate is $150/hr until June 2025 when the rate will be $175/hr.

I will always be transparent with what’s doable with your budget. If your piece is outside of your budget, I will provide an alternative.

I accept cash, card, and Zelle. A 5% processing fee is added to card transactions. I do not have an ATM or change for cash.

* PLEASE NOTE: I CANNOT ACCEPT MONEY OUTSIDE OF YOUR DEPOSIT LEADING UP TO THE APPOINTMENT AND THE PIECE MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT THE END OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. PLEASE BUDGET ACCORDINGLY.

Q: Can I see my design before my appointment?

A: I do not show any designs prior to your appointment. The submission form asks for a lot of details and you are able to submit reference photos. Pinterest boards are encouraged!

You are able to make any minor changes the day of if needed.

IF FOR SOME REASON YOU REJECT THE DESIGN ENTIRELY, WE WILL DISCUSS IF A CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULE IS BEST. A cancellation would result in forfeiting your deposit for draw-time compensation.

Q: What does being an email subscriber entail?

A: Email subscribers receive 24 hour early access to submitting inquiry forms. If you’re interested in a weekend day, early access is recommended.

Q: Do you do full color work?

A: Yes, but I much prefer doing black and grey. Doing some splashes of color with the black and grey is fine, but I tend to stray away from full color pieces.

Please take a look at my Instagram/portfolio to see if your idea aligns similarly with what you’re interested in. I’m sometimes open to doing pieces outside of my regular style, but pieces that align more with what I do regularly take priority.

Q: Can i bring someone to my appointment?

A: Yes! Please limit your company to 1 person since the studio is small. No kids/pets are allowed at the studio. ADA service animals are allowed.

Q: What is your process for a touch up?

A: If a touch up is needed due to ink falling out during the healing process, I offer 1 free touch up within 6 months of getting the tattoo. If you want to get a touch up outside of the 6 month mark, it is the studio minimum of $100. Finger tattoos require a set up fee of $50 to touch up regardless of how long it has been since your initial appointment. Please send photos via email when inquiring about your touch up appointment.

If you have a piece from me and you’re getting another piece done, I will always touch up the other one for free regardless of the time frame.
